What do you want? Le Marche does not have the main tourist sites of Italy, the exotic range of Cities, Cultural indulgence and Tuscan rolling landscape. However, it has much more, it is a completely new experience; what it lacks in major "tourist" spots, so obvious in its Umbrian and Tuscan neighbours, is totally overcome by its natural, rugged, unspoilt real Italian environment. Vineyards clinging to hillsides, vibrant hill towns some over 1000 years old, summers full of festivals to attract villagers (not designed for tourists) and local sourced produce to create superb simple cuisine.

Nearest coastline is the Adriatic with numerous beaches and then the constant "backdrop" of the Sibillini mountains rising to over 2500m.

The region offers a wide and varied range of Leisure and Activities.

Our accommodation offers either real rural tranquillity (at Asolare), you can spend lazy days on the terrace, dining "al fresco", watching the fireflies on May/June and the glorious sunsets in July/August.

At Asolaremo, while tranquillity is assured the additional option to stroll to one of the bars for morning coffee and a pastry is simplicity itself; also that early evening aperitif while watching Italian life unfold is a "must do" activity.

Le Marche is referred to as the "rural heart of Italy". Food is locally sourced and seasonal; for those committed to the concept of "slow food", shopping and creating simple wholesome cuisine, this has it all.

Finally "Cost of Living", in this part of Italy is much lower than many expect, dining out can easily be achieved for approximately 15 euros per head (2 courses plus Wine and Water).
